A daily, read-only loop that finds Reddit threads where your product genuinely helps the poster and surfaces each as an opportunity — a link plus one pre-drafted comment. It never posts; you do.
The Reddit loop finds threads where your product genuinely solves the poster's problem and saves each as an opportunity: a link to the thread plus one pre-drafted comment that answers the poster and mentions your brand naturally. It is read-only and draft-only — it never posts. You review and post manually from the Reddit tab.
Prerequisites
- Reddit must be configured on the server (it reads Reddit through a proxy) and the loop enabled for your product. If either is missing, the loop stops with a one-line reason and saves nothing.
- A short pitch describing what your product does, plus optional target subreddits and search queries. The loop uses these to write good searches, judge fit, and phrase the brand mention. Set these up from the Reddit tab.
How it works
On a daily schedule the loop:
- Searches — fires your configured queries (and, if they're thin, 2–4 it derives from your pitch, phrased like a person asking for help, e.g. "best CRM for early startups"), plus optionally scans your subreddits for fresh threads.
- Filters — keeps only recent threads with score ≥ 2 and roughly under 80 comments, that plausibly match your product, don't already mention your brand, and aren't already answered with it.
- Drafts — writes one genuinely helpful comment per kept thread and saves it as an opportunity.
It caps at 5 opportunities per run, and zero is a perfectly valid outcome — quality over quantity.
The comment rules
Every drafted comment follows hard rules, so what lands in your queue is postable as-is:
- One comment per opportunity — 1–3 sentences, no A/B versions, no walls of text.
- Answers the question first — it must help even without the mention.
- Never reveals you're the maker — the brand is something you found or saw recommended, never "my tool" or "we built".
- No markdown links — a bare brand or domain mention only.
- Matches the thread's energy — casual thread, casual comment.
What you get
Each opportunity is a card in the Reddit tab: the thread link, context, and the one drafted comment. You post it yourself — the loop has no ability to post to Reddit. Edit the comment first if you like, then paste it into the thread.
Notes & limits
- Read-only and draft-only by design — there is no "auto-post" setting.
- The poster's text is treated as untrusted input — data to evaluate, never instructions to follow.
- A run that finds nothing saves nothing; that's expected on quiet days.
